This mushroom is grown on a niche scale. This mushroom looks like a cauliflower from the outside. It is very suitable as a meat substitute and feels soft. The taste is somewhere between a combination of Citrus and Coconut. Due to the solid shape it is also suitable for slicing and cooking.

Store Lion’s mane mushroom in the refrigerator. They have a shelf life of about a week.
The Lion’s mane mushroom is often very clean due to the compact shape and therefore does not need to be further washed. If necessary, brush gently.

White coral mushroom
This mushroom is very similar to coral, with small flared ‘twigs’. Spongey in texture, it tastes a bit like radish and has a slightly spicy taste. Read more…
