Almond mushroom
(Agaricus Blazei Murill)
A whimsically shaped mushroom that looks a bit like a regular mushroom, but with a characteristic almond flavour and aroma. The top is brown, the stem white in colour and longer than that of a mushroom. Recently grown on a small scale in the Netherlands.

Storage
Store almond mushrooms in the refrigerator. They can be kept for a few days. Like most mushrooms, they are most delicious when fresh.
Cleaning
Gently clean almond mushrooms with a brush or a piece of kitchen paper.
